चला मिळून आपली गावे स्वच्छ करूया (Let's clean our villages together)
Aamhi is a unique, locally-driven community waste management project, where community leaders, residents and village folk have joined hands to rid their neighbourhoods of non-biodegradable waste. Having started with the village of Nandgaon, this initiative has now spread to ten surrounding villages. We have been supported by the Alibaug solid waste management association (ASWM)- giving us the much needed structure. Not only have these areas been cleared of 140 to 170 tonnes of waste, but Aamhi has also recycled, upcycled, and given what was once considered litter, a new lease of life.

“Project Aamhi is more than waste management—it’s rural transformation in action.
Through localized extraction, segregation, and recycling solutions, we’re redefining how communities in Raigad deal with non-biodegradable waste.”
